Notes
After graduating from the University of Leicester in the UK, Abdel Moneim Mustafa obtained a Master's degree from Australia and then a higher diploma from the Netherlands. He played a major role in the modern architectural heritage of Sudan contributing to a regional architectural language. He joined the Ministry of Public Works in 1963 and then the Department of Architecture in 1964. His designs range from commercial buildings to private homes. In 1963 he established his own practice. Some of his major works are the Arab Bank for Economic Development (BADEA) Headquarters and the Nifidi and Malik Mixed Use Developments in Khartoum.

Mustafa is also known to have worked with the Austrian architect Peter Muller in Sudan.
