An international consultancy firm founded in 1956 by four professors of Engineering working at the American University of Beirut (AUB) Engineering School: Jordanian Dr. Kamal A Shair, Dr. Samir Thabet, Dr. Khalil Maalouf and Dr. Nazih Taleb.
Dar Al-Handasah (Shair and Partners) opened five design centers in Beirut, Cairo, Amman, London and Pune. The company has operated throughout the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia.
