Notes
This project sought to shield from the sun and to ensure natural ventilation.
The initial design, which was not executed, included an "umbrella" that kept the rooms shaded. Also, the different floors were vertically open to each other, allowing constant ventilation.
The later design shaded its various floors by surrounding terrace projections. The exterior language of the building, a rather regular envelope delimited by columns, consisted of a frame holding the different floors. On the inside, every floor was expressed differently according to its functions.
