Notes
The project being a prototype, some 13 schools were built all over the UAE. The most distinctive feature in these buildings is their "badgirs," adaptations of the old type of wind tower houses in the region used for natural air cooling and cross-ventilation. Despite this, the client requested that the schools be mechanically air-conditionned.
