Objectives

The objective of the Arab Center for Architecture is twofold:

1- Create a research center for Modern Architecture accessible to students, researchers and professionals, by:

• Building a physical archive on Modern Architecture in Lebanon and collaborating with similar institutions in the Arab world.
• Developing a database on Modern Architecture in the Arab countries and completing the existing database on Modern Architecture in Lebanon.

2- Promote knowledge about modern architectural heritage and participate in its protection, through:

• Publications
• Exhibitions
• Seminars and Conferences
• Lobbying activities
• Workshops for children
• Varied events
