Advocacy

The Arab Center for Architecture seeks to foster and take part in advocacy actions and initiatives, with various objectives:

• To initiate a dialogue with political and administrative bodies on the issues of building codes, urban planning and urban design policies.
• To advocate locally, regionally and internationally for sound policies for the protection of quality architecture and the built environment.
• To provide expertise on the issues of preservation and protection of buildings and sites, including the inscription of buildings and sites on heritage lists.
• To provide consultancy on various historical, architectural and urban issues.
• To monitor current and future architectural and urban production.
