Notes
The project consists of galleries and stores on its ground floor and offices on the upper floors. The L-shaped main corridor connects the two circulation cores on each extremity with the entrance in the middle. The design puts focus on the relationship with the Al-Rashid Street, while expressing the intention of shading the street stores from the harsh sunlight and creating an enjoyable atmosphere for the customers and merchants. At the upper floor levels, continuous or intersecting balconies animate the façade and enhance the building’s connection with the street.
