Notes
The Baghdad Railway station paved the way for modern building into Iraq and it occupied an important position in the replanning of Baghdad. The building is symmetrical in shape with two U-shaped buildings on either sides; in the middle is the grand central entrance which has a 210m diameter dome. Both the interior and exterior spaces were decorated with reliefs and expressed extensive workmanship.
