Notes
The Mahmoud Koleilat Building, known as the Gondole Building due to the restaurant Gondole that was located in the building, was one of the first buildings built on the Corniche by the sea, facing the Pigeon's rock.
The building had a U-shaped plan, with a slightly concave side giving onto the Corniche facing the sea. A passage linked the main block to the one in the rear, through a courtyard. The rear part was very playful with a spiral staircase covered with a thin concrete spiraling roof. An eccentric curved porch is found on the main entrance. The building was demolished in 2005.
