The building has a reinforced concrete frame, with infilling of concrete block panels.
Within the interior, walls are plastered with linoleum on screed floors. On the ground level, there is a covered garden, and the remaining space contains room for book stacks and offices. Over the covered garden, there’s the reading room on the top floor. On this same floor, there are study, committee and catalogue rooms, as well as more book stacks space.
