Notes
The architect intended to create a highly cohesive design for this project. In that vein, he used an organizing axis that pierced through the house and had the windows set along it. This made windows—as were the walls—arranged behind one another. Accordingly, once an individual looks through a window, they'll perceive the other ones lined up behind it. Thus, the negative space perforating through, becomes a positive spatial element holding the spaces together. The entrance of the house was made to stand out as it was flanked with see-through wooden screens contrasting the white colored walls. On the facade, the entrance and wooden screens ensemble linked the two wings of the house and completed the definition of the courtyard lying behind.
