Notes
Zeitoun was called upon, along with other nine architecture offices, to design the residence for the Egyptian President behind the Presidential Palace, yet no project was realized due to the economic situation at the time.
Zeitoun's design constituted of three floors arranged upwards and backwards, allowing the procession from the interior courtyard on the ground floor to that on the second floor. The architectural style used is close to that of Renaissance architecture, yet it features elements of Moorish Islamic architecture in its treatment of surfaces and elements of Iraqi architecture in its treatment of arches and musharrabiyyas in the main facade.
