Notes
The Shousha Apartment Building constitutes of eleven housing units of diverse areas, designs, and layouts. Two duplexes, including 3 bedrooms each, with private gardens are found on each of the ground floor and first floor, and two duplexes, including 4 bedrooms each, are on each on the fifth and sixth floors with a large garden on the roof.
On the second floor, exist two small housing units, a 1-bedroom apartment and a 2-bedroom apartment. The remaining units on the second, third, and forth floors are 3-bedroom apartments of a similar design.
The ground floor includes, between its two garages, an art gallery designed to spread across different levels to create variation in the exhibition spaces.
For this project, Zeitoun wasn't shackled by limits set by clients. And, as in many of his projects, Zeitoun used moveable and fixed furniture and designed vast interior spaces stretching along double heights.
