Notes
Salah Zeitoun established his private architectural practice together with his lifetime architect friend Mustafa Shawky. Their success granted them a number of significant projects, such as the
Cairo International Airport designed in 1954 and the
Cairo American College in Maadi designed in 1966. Their reputation expanded internationally with accomplished projects in other Arab and European countries.
