Notes
The complex was built in two stages. The first started in the sixties and catered for 400 students, and the other one started in the seventies after the school’s capacity reached around 1000 students. It took eight years to finalize the execution of the complex (1971-1979). It included a group of school buildings (nursery, elementary, middle and high school), an arts center, crafts center, a sports and music building as well as a tennis court, basketball court, football court and running tracks. In addition, the complex incorporated administration offices, a cafeteria and a services block.
The architects used exposed brickwork for internal and external spaces as well as concrete vaults to provide maximum daylight into the recreational hall and the library.
