John R. Harris & Partners was established in London in 1949. In 1960, they were commissioned by Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Makhtoum to develop a master plan for the city of Dubai, and eventually opened an office there. Since then, they became involved in various projects in the Gulf region.
