Notes
"The building is an architectural statement with its very hard and closed granite-faced rear facade contrasting with the completely curtain-walled sea view. Because of its very particular curved-plan form, the building effectively has only two facades [...] There are two eight-story satellite towers which have a triangular-plan form and accommodate common facilities. Again the contrast of glass curtain wall and hard granite is striking. All rooms have a sea view as the plan has a single-access corridor format." (Damluji, Salma Samar. "Constraints and Opportunities." In The Architecture of The United Arab Emirates. Garnet Publishing, 2006. pp. 131-132.)

A rotating restaurant sits at the top of the building.
