Guided Tours
The Arab Center for Architecture offers guided tours of the modern architectural heritage of Lebanon to local and visiting groups, schools and universities.
Different types of tours can be proposed:
- Walks in specific neighborhoods
- Thematic tours
- Detailed visits of buildings/sites (such as Tripoli Fair, Starco)
- Customized tours according to a particular interest
Volunteer architects and architecture students help the ACA team as guides.

Visit to the Holcom Headquarters
The Arab Center for Architecture is organizing an exceptional visit of the Holcom Headquarters, first runner-up at the MIPIM Awards in the Best Office and Business Development category 2016, on Saturday May 7, 2016.
The building was designed by Lombardini22 & Atelier des Architectes Associés – AAA SARL, while the interior design was done by DEGW.
The visit is guided by the AAA team and the meeting point will be the Holcom Headquarters main entrance, Corniche Pierre Gemayel, Jisr el Wati, at 10:00 AM.
The tour will last 2 hours and the language used is French.

Guided Tour | Furn el Chebbek
The Arab Center for Architecture is organizing a guided tour in Furn el Chebbek on Sunday April 24, 2016.
The tour is guided by Naji Assi, architect and senior instructor at the American University of Beirut and the meeting point will be the National Museum at 10:00 AM.

The tour will be guided by Liliane Barakat, geographer and professor at Saint Joseph University, and the meeting point will be Electricité du Liban, main gate at 10:00 AM.
The tour will last 3 hours and the language used is French.

Guided tour | Beirut Central District ‘Beauty under Stress’
The Arab Center for Architecture is organizing a guided tour entitled ‘Beauty under Stress’, practicing public space in Beirut Central District Sunday April 10, 2016.
The tour is guided by Rania Sassine, architect and urban planner, senior lecturer at ALBA, currently consultant in urbanism, and former head of Master Planning Unit at Citymakers/Solidere International.
The meeting point will be Paul, Gemmayze, Georges Haddad Avenue, at 10:00 AM. The tour will last 3 hours and the language used is Arabic.

Architects and Works | Grégoire Sérof
The Arab Center for Architecture is pleased to announce its new guided tours cycle: Architects and Works. The first tour is guided by Grégoire Sérof on Sunday April 3, 2016.
Grégoire Sérof is a Lebanese architect of Russian descent. He started learning Painting Studies at ALBA in 1948 before choosing architecture. After graduating in 1955, he worked with Georges Rais and Theo Canaan in Delta Construction Company. He collaborated with Michel Ecochard and Dar Al-Handasah and signed numerous architecture and planning projects. Lecturer at INBA, ALBA and AUB, Grégoire Serof contributes with his writings to the debate on the city.
The tour includes three stops in Beirut: the Zein Building, the ministry of Energy and Water Resources and Caporal and Moretti buildings, and a visit to the Collège des Frères Mont-la Salle complex with the participation of Georges Khoury, co-architect of the school with Khalil Khoury and Raoul Verney.
The meeting point will be the Sunflower theatre, Badaro, at 10:00 AM (return by 1:30 PM) and the language used is French.

The Arab Center for Architecture is organizing a guided tour entitled "Kantari, Architecture, Urbanism and fragments of memory" on Sunday March 20, 2016.
The tour is guided by Mazen Haidar, conservation architect and the assistant director at the School of Architecture, ALBA, University of Balamand. The meeting point will be at Fransabank, Hamra at 10:00 AM.
The tour will last 3 hours and the language used is Arabic.

The tour will be guided by Elie Harfouche, architect, assistant professor at the Lebanese American University and editor of Archileb. The meeting point will be the National Museum at 10:00 AM.
